How to choose
Most players already know what they’re after — they just need help narrowing it down.
- Tone goal: aggressive and punchy, warm and vintage, or clean and hi-fi.
- Strings: 4 for classic feel, 5 for low-end authority, 6 for range and chordal work.
- Feel: string spacing, neck shape, and weight can make or break the connection.
